Texas Moms Donated More Than 5,500 Ounces of Breastmilk During the Coronavirus Outbreak

Beaumont, TX is home to a milk drop-off site where Lactation Consultant Kara Michael is working overtime to recruit new milk donors and facilitate easy drop-offs. Local Beaumont donors have contributed over 5,500 ounces of milk since March, helping us keep hospitals supplied with donor milk that’s more in demand due to covid-19 related baby and mother separations.
