Milk Donor Savitha: From recipient to donor

I had a very difficult childbirth.

Mothers Milk Bank Recipient Baby Yuvaan

I was in labor for over 20 hours. Yuvaan finally entered the world after 4 hours of pushing with the umbilical cord wrapped twice tightly around his neck.

He was kept in the NICU for a week and was given donor milk as I didn’t start producing mine yet. It was then that I first learned about milk donation and was extremely thankful to the donors. Now that I am producing enough, me and Yuvaan wanted to share our milk with those babies in need. I am now a milk donor.
