Amplify Austin Day is a fun and easy way for the community to give back to local nonprofits organizations like the Mothers’ Milk Bank Austin. During this 24-hour period of giving, participants visit their preferred nonprofit’s Amplify webpage and show their support for the organization by making a donation of $25 or more. Many of these individual donations are then “amplified” by fellow supporters and matching gifts from local businesses, corporations, and foundations.
No, you do not have to live in Austin, or the surrounding counties, to participate in Amplify Austin. In fact, we receive support from all of the United States during Amplify Austin and that’s because our donors know every dollar we receive during this 24-hours of giving has the potential to be even more through the matched gifts and hourly prizes.
Yes! The Amplify Austin technology provider has a “mobile optimized platform” that makes it easy to donate on Amplifyatx.org/organizations/mothers-milk-bank using your smartphone.
Yes! GiveGab, the Amplify Austin platform, uses a PCI Level I-compliant payment service to ensure that all financial data is secure. You can learn about Stripe’s security precautions and more about PCI compliance.
Yes, you will receive an immediate thank you and tax receipt for 100% of your donation(s), which you should print out for your records.
All donors will receive a thank you and tax receipt for 100% of their donation from Amplify Austin. Donors who choose to donate anonymously will receive a tax receipt, but their contact information will not be passed along to the Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin.
Using the ‘donate’ button through Facebook does NOT link to Mothers’ Milk Bank fundraiser page on AmplifyATX.org. Amplify Austin cannot track donations made through Facebook, and they do not count toward the Amplify Austin Day campaign for prizes, incentives, or matches.
Yes, please! All fundraisers must register and complete an online fundraising page. You then pick your own fundraising goal ($25 and up) and can accept donations on your fundraising page.
