Two siblings, two donor milk journeys

Two out of my three children depended on donor breast milk to help them sustain life and grow stronger. My oldest was a micro-preemie born at 25 weeks… weighing only 1 pound 15 ounces. My youngest was born at 35 weeks and born with an extremely rare disease called Hirschsprung’s. Because of this disease, his whole colon and part of his small bowel have no nerve endings.

Thankfully it’s only temporary but breast milk is the only milk these babies could tolerate. If it weren’t for all of the wonderful women who donate, in all honesty, my babies probably wouldn’t be alive.

I’m so thankful for all the wonderful women who have donated their time effort and precious milk, that unfortunately, I’m unable to make for my precious babies!
